Solid Waste Disposal

The Island is divided into four zones. (Zone 1 & 2 operated by Elmoralis Ltd., Zone 3 operated by Waste Tech Ltd., and Zone 4 is operated by Krystal Enviro Services Ltd. Contractors are also responsible for the collection of waste from all Government Establishments including Schools, Police, Air and Seaports, Secretariat and roadside generated waste. The pickup times in the various zones are between the hours of 5.00am – 5.00pm

Zone 1

is the West zone, from West End to South Hill (by the Methodist Church), including Blowing Point. The collection schedule for these areas is:

Household Bins - Mondays & Thursday
Community Bins - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Contractor is ELMOALIS, headed by Hugo Rey (Tel 497-3778)

Zone 2

is the Central Zone, from Sandy Ground, North Hill, Upper South Hill (East of Methodist Church), George Hill, Wall Blake, Little Harbour, The Forest, The Quarter and Rey Hill. The collection schedule for these areas is:

Household Bins - Mondays & Fridays
Community Bins - Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays
Contractor is ELMOALIS, headed by Hugo Rey (Tel 497-3778)

Zone 3

is the entire Valley (North and South) including Sachasses, Rock Farm, Crocus Hill, Roaches Hill, North Side, Stoney Ground, Cauls Bottom, Wattices and Little Dix for all these areas. Waste Tech will be collecting waste on

Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays & Saturdays
A combination of household & community bins will be used.

Zone 4

is the East: Shoal Bay and Deep Waters to Island Harbour, East End and back to The Farrington. The collection schedule is as follows:

Household Bins - Mondays & Thursdays: Bad Cox, Deep Waters, Farrington, Long Path, Sandy Hill & East End. Tuesdays & Fridays: Welches, Mount Fortune, White Hill & Island Harbour.

Community Bins - All community bins will be emptied on the following days: Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. The Villages of Chalvilles, Sea Feathers, Pond Ground, The Corpse, Garlin Bottom. The Keys & Shoal Bay.
